Sheryl Underwood, a American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as host on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas and raised in Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of a very troubled background. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from her own illness called Polio. As a teenager, she experienced an uneasy relationship with her mother. Sheryl states that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier after her college graduation. However, her interests lay in comedy. She was the first female finalist in the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She launched her TV work in 1992 by being a regular performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk Show. In addition, she has a fictional role in popular shows such as Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
