Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, TV host and actress famous for hosting The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime. The Talk. Sheryl Underwood, born in Arkansas was raised in Arkansas between Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. Sheryl spent the majority of her childhood helping her younger sister Frankie, who had polio. As a child, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl claims that once she cut her father's hair because he got too close. Sheryl was a college graduate when she, joined the army. But, she was interested in comedy. She was the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television for the 2000 season of Oh Drama! In the past, she has been host of The Talk since 2011. In addition she has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
