Liz Vassey has been acting since the age of 9 old. She moved into New York at the age of 16 to be part of the team of All My Children. The show's work earned her her first Daytime Emmy nomination. Since then, Liz has made guest appearances as a regular part on twelve different television shows including ER Maximizing Bob's Necessary Roughness Brotherly Loving Push Nevada Two and a Half Men the live-action version of FOX's adaptation from The Tick and most recently Season Two of the reboot of The Tick on Amazon. She is best remembered for the role of DNA Tech Wendy Simms in the TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The role was hers during five consecutive seasons. Additionally, Liz has appeared in a number of movies as well as pilots. She has also appeared as a guest in a variety of television series. Liz has had a very successful writing career in addition to being an actress. For her last season on CSI she wrote an episode with her co-writers. Since then, she has sold 6 television pilots and one TV movie. They are currently in development by NBC Freeform Universal Netflix The CW as well as other studios. Liz who is a lifelong running enthusiast recently made her debut as director on the documentary feature film The Human Race which has launched. The documentary focuses on those who have run for more than 50. Liz Emmerich lives with David Emmerichs in Hollywood. They have way too many dogs and kids. In addition, she played the role of a Mermaid in Flight of the Conchords as she was the main actress in the Shana Sosin-directed independent feature The Rift.
