
King Von was in fact Dayvon Daquan Bennett. He was born in Chicago on August 9, 1994 to Walter as well as Taesha. As a child of his mother, he had three siblings. Meanwhile, the father had six half-siblings. Bennett was mostly nurtured by his mother due to his father's constant time in prison. The father of Bennett was murdered and taken to the hospital when Bennett was only 11. Bennett spent his 16th year in prison. It was the start of his encounters with law enforcement. Afterward, he earned a few college credits from South Suburban College in South Holland, Illinois. To try to reform himself after further legal issues, Bennett began pursuing his professional career in music and collaborating often with fellow rapper Lil Durk.Although "Welcome to O'Block" was the only studio album Von released during his lifetime The posthumous album "What it means to be King" was released posthumously in March of 2022.
